How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

Go

Another TFI in the sun. Next week in Madison, ridiculously. Perhaps L. in town the night before. Strange days. Arranging for the move. The plans of Vegas lost, let us hope that Obama and the world do not hinge on that choice. Given the latest antics, surely not. Looking forward to hearing word in the desolate desert.

The beginning of the end tonight, dare we think. Following Palin-Couric and the mock suspension and all. Would rather retreat in to the office television than see Elton, hilariously. 2nd last Wire episode first. Remember such days? How long ago they seem. And I haven't even thought up a title to the post. So, just in case you need further motive later on (you won't) let's call it...
