The Plumbing
So -- funny how so often these posts unconsciously use that term, the consequence of always being in reporting mode, I suppose.
So... the WJ tickets booked, not at the absolute cheapest price at that, but I can just about let myself be convinced that securing the weekend from the cold white streets of St. John's after Guinness will be the right approach for reasons known perhaps only to madam fortuna, yet be revealed. It certainly served as a marker for the visit up to Gladstone, as anticipated, closing the loop on the random night-before-Burns encounter. Thus was the embarrassing 2008 ask repeated this morning, with an almost verbatim response from DT. Success lies in the jacket pocket, although at half the content, so whether it means a return to the source or not we will wait to see. Nice, at least, to have found suitable inspiration again to seek it out.
A day that demonstrated your hilariously indeterminate nature and decision-making, turning down one planned Open Mic rendezvous while trying to hold out on another, conceding, only to be put off until two nights hence as per the original plan. Well done. Not that you need time to brew on events, but I think the expectation in this case should serve you well. Fun playing the puppet-master role. For that matter, I wonder where the response is from SJS. And will Truro figure into the Spring plans? How random might that be, I wonder? Justified in terms of practice, ever failing, ever failing better. A rationalization that makes sense in the mind - and why not, as these are the days, and short are they.
Lunch plans tomorrow to continue planting the hints, just downloaded some recipes to try your hand at tonight in preparation for getting stuck in for the storm until the trek to the airport. A nice run of days ahead, methinks. Enjoy it. Secret, exotic, Caribbean adventures are the best kind, and surely just a set up for a return to the Malecon, or Cozumel? My word boy, here's hoping.
Oh, and a late West Brom equalizer versus Chelsea at that. These days are shaping up nicely, as long as Ozil and the Arsenal do United by this time tomorrow... COYG.
