How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

2-Nil Down, 3-2 Up...

And what a Cup Day it turned out to be.  Such an exhausting ordeal, with another magical late winner to add to the Arsenal highlight reel for future tellings.  Still sinking in, slowly but beautifully, and as Arseblog says, I'll be basking in it like a bastard for awhile.  Brilliantly brief weekend, with the parade and the Pimm's and the Thames and the Globe to top it off, even as Antony and Cleopatra both proved disappointing...  Probably had to do in part with the struggle to stay standing, but no matter.  One to catch again at some point, and remember.

Do-do-do-do-do-do, Aaron Ramsey!  Just gold.

Now to plan the rest of the summer.  Focus on the next three weeks to get back into some reasonable shape.  Figure out camping and sailing and other adventures.  Etcetera.  Off for Oyster Happy Hour with Inch, as another year ticks on...
