How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

You Better Belize It

3 hours away from 2016, 1 for NS (and Tancook -what's the ferry schedule for Jan 1??)

The rib is killing me, remember that?  And wondering about omniscience, and whether it is a mystery as to what will happen, and if anyone/anything knows now or has known.  If a tree falls in the forest, etc...

There is a certain magic to this day, the changing of the calendar.  It is palpable.  Not just for resolutions, but for life itself.  There are only so many of them that you will see, and so they should be noted.  Embraced, and with an equal amount of nostalgia and freshness.

"What is love?" and "Fool in the Rain" and "Drinking in LA" and...   what is the last song you want to hear before the year turns in SJS?  Let's make it Nina, and then Ron.  RIP, then and now.

And, so I leave you, McMahon.  For now.  There is more to be said, but it can be said later.  Because, there is only one resolution for 2016.  And you know it.  And it is an easy one.  Tancook it.
