How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

Not the Only but Forever the First

Another day sleeping in until noon.  Another late night mindless Friday trip to the Alehouse and unconscionable risk taking.  Another slow day of falling stocks after failure to heed your own advice to get out.  Another day day-dreaming and hiding from the world and responsibilities such as the strategic plan.  Another day closer to Grenada, O'Cannabiz, the FA cup final, the boat launch, Magdalen, 100 islands, Antarctica...

But since the last post, you managed to swing a memorable trip through the Rock to bolster the status of a legend.  A return to the Duke and Signal Hill and Tiffany's.  A real burst of effort and fun and memories.  Topped off by the storybook finish and now, at long last, a second winning team.

As it should be.  Now we look to the future and the events to come, starting with St. Patrick this week.  Clear your place for a potential visitor post Celtic Corner, I imagine.  Get the new passport and 7 minute your way back to a bit of fitness before month's end.  You are almost out of another round of winter blues.  Forge ahead.
