To the Mont
Boom indeed. A rise in the Enerflex fortunes on Friday and also this morning. Need to consider the right timing to escape. But for now each of the four are at their highs of some time, so no regrets, etc. etc. I feel like the greed to see it hit $20 and fear of missing out on others could be a downfall, but for now, roll on?
The draw also fell kindly, queuing up a return to the continent well-aligned with the kick-starting of celebrations for this 40th year. The question now is simply whether the path will cross with that of the dark princess. Even if not, those dutch streets from the twenties will be worth rewalking, and the forest room a most hilarious shout for pictures of sorrow.
There was certainly an element of destiny about that draw in particular, having identified Mont St Michel as a destination of wonder best achieved now, but which absolutely required the excuse of a Rennes fixture to see it home. Combined with the random date thrown out by the random finder of the 2013 postcard at Shakespeare's and the certainty of the Eurostar arrival in time for the start of the pub crawl at Founders, you have a real recipe for magic that was inescapable and thus quickly booked. Whether the Comptoir hook-up works out remains to be seen, but the return to Peace and Love hostel near Gare du Nord and the like cannot help but bring out the smiles, chewing as you will on that weed of time.
Let us hope the weather and standby gods do not disappoint, having brought things along to this cusp. Surely it is meant to work out just so.
