How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

“Actively Discouraging”

So says PMJT tonight re: international travel, and there is a disconnect between stay-at-home and curfews and the ability to board transatlantic flights.  The doctoring makes me nervous but it must be done and cannot fail.  The risk of being stuck is real but everything can be accomplished from the computer with only slight deceptions.  I wonder.

It’s later than you think, and the timing requires it.  Good start to the month, and crazy to think that in a non-pandemic world you’d be wrapping up NYC.  Wonder when I’ll ever get back there?  2023 seems a good bet to finish off the MFA.  I wonder if/what I’ll be writing by summer.  Here’s hoping.  Let’s just get to TO and get underway.  I want the Harry’s steak and Sandy’s desert, like I never left.  Do it.
