COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

“Keep the Spirit Going”

One week in, that’s the verdict from Willard.  Have to keep reminding myself this is not all a dream.  New restrictions mean M wouldn’t be allowed in as of Monday, so we really have pulled out another miraculous coup once again, as the NS Covid situation spirals further.  Lockdown even as we emerge in 8 more days.  But the hiking and sailing will be good, as we figure out the future.  Slowly, slowly.  As the Poul Anderson story you are reading now states, “There will be time.”
