How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

Gang Thegither

Freedom and Whiskey do, said Burns, and yes indeed.

Listening to the man from Aberdeen at Stravaigin, an 8 quid cab ride from the hostel to an area of Glasgow I never once visited in the 99-00 year.  Session worthwhile even just in hearing here first the news of a Danish hydrogen island, as I devoured the Haggis and quaffed Talisker for dessert.

The North London derby was a dream… Tottenham get battered, everywhere they go.  Right into smashed flower pots and questionable Asian bus riding tactics.  But at least a perfect arrival into Glasgow in the rain and the early checkin and (incredibly) the Krapp’s poster.  What a finish for this Scottish stay that will be.  Just need to get through the Teams call pre-Champions League this eve.  First, more Scotch at the Bon Accord!
