How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

Communication Breakdown

... it's always the same.  Ha.  Same same but different another accurate way to put it.  Asking questions interpreted as hesitancy or indecision or disinterest, when the real purpose is to not come across as always imposing ideas.  Respite fleeting between swings of thought, the added complexity of the newborn entering the equation, a variable of uncertainty that makes choosing a joint plan all the more challenging.  Trying to interpret what is in someone else's head the constant struggle, for real.

Unsent text message, unintended consequences.  But you are beyond due to leave the phone in the office when at home.  Try that experiment and see how long you can make it run this week.  Who knows.
