How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

The. Show. Must. Go. On.

15 years.

It is the laughter, above all, that remains a constant.  "Give us even the tiniest sliver and we'd be in there."  Time is such a funny beast, the way it circles around and plays its various tricks.  How we return to certain memories.  How we create and expand our worlds with the randomness of moments that linger.  Decisions taken and not taken.  Secrets shared and savored, regrets only for what has been lost.

Monkey Jane is selling her business for less than $5k.  In another life, wouldn't that be just the thing to do?  I do need to plan again to float the River Li with someone, and see those peaks again.  To bust out some time to linger in.

The Princess accomplished her mission, and although the George's island offer was not taken up, that story seems to have a few more paragraphs yet to be written.  Heh.

"There I was, face down in the scorpion position."  An excellent start.  So many words to write and yet you put it off and put it off, so as to be in a spot tomorrow for the flow.  I can see it slowly coming together...  Will report back in 36 hours as to the result.
