“Hindsight, Insight, Foresight”

Firm AGM from the basement of Parklane and a still-closed movie theatre, as your wife browses the shops upstairs. Just two nights since a beautiful birthday opposite Cape Split, warming the asses by the campfire, listening to the orgasmic crashing of waves on the shore immediately below.  

The last of the Karoo tape recordings for awhile had a symposium send off: Lessons of patience, not to compromise on what is key, always be learning, confidence on the path taken as opposed to what might have been, and above all Nick’s blunt advice to start a family.  

Tied to that, shall answers to Life, the Universe, and Everything be incoming?  Maybe just.  Writing now needs to begin with an eye to returning to complete the MFA and publish the memoir to date.  Summer of Atlantic travel while we wait for the second dose and unfolding clarity across a variety of fronts.  According to the Pharoah (Sanders), the Creator has a master plan… keeping you on your toes, but no complaints since the pandemic dropped.

As William Hung would and did say, “no regrets at all.”
