How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

The Eve of Mineville

Throw back the clocks for an extra hour of sleep before the drive to Candy Mountain.  Shall you bid?  Is there destiny laden here?  The ticking of boxes, decisions of the most lasting repercussions, imagining the future.  This house appeared, and the timing aligns, and calls in some senses as a beauty, my kind of large spaces, she says…

Roll the dice and see, what shall the saved man say to the offer if made?  What is the right number, 818?  Haha, so much to laugh about and imagine.
