How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

What is South of the South Pole?

Nothing, said Hawking.  Good quote for Antarctica story, actually, along with Limbo of forgotten things.  Thanks to this Dawkins interview, after a night of drafting argument and a day of phone calls.  More and more a lawyer out from the protective shell on your own.

Dawkins interview with some great lines.  Susan Blackmore on consciousness and lights in tunnel.  Fairies in the garden.

There were more but I cannot recall, and now it is days later.  Post-paddy, post 50+ hour week, post weekend arguments about trust, and recommendations, and sensitivities.  For once, get over the need for a defensive response, listen to the complaints and move forward.  Processing requires a letting go, a brushing off.  Just do it and save yourself the grief of the explosion.  It too shall pass.  The pregnancy hormones will get you otherwise, trust in that.  Enjoy Easter and start the UK preparations for what may be the last visit for some time, and the first point of solo freedom since Sept 2021.  23 sleeps.
