How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

Love in the Time of...

What a difference a virus makes?  No South Africa, and no international travel for the foreseeable future.  Work will grind to a halt, home with the parents for a few weeks the most likely next step.

The silver lining?  No excuse not to write with a vengeance.  No excuse not to accelerate plans when travel bans lift.  No excuse for... well...  I don't know.  World changing event, and all things considered you are in a decent spot as it burns.  See if you can make some money back while you are at it.

But that's not the key.  You were selfish and greedy before, and waiting around for more cost you.  There will be money in the bank when you die regardless, so forge ahead.  So many permutations and combinations, haha.

The Old Triangle line this morning was brilliant.  Dodging the Global camera at first, then CTV shows up.  Inspired to leave him the leprechaun present of two empty cans.  Remember the alcove, where you hid from the cameras, in the year of the virus.  Let's hope it is just the "year".

A few errands, including the final MFA publishing assignment, then off to Moncton for a two-week self-isolation to see the parents.  How will it end?  Just watch it.  Oh, this Guinness sensation, early in the morning.  I should have packed a third if I had known.

Life is a series of memories, said Peter.  And isn't it just?
