How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

We are the ones we have been waiting for

It has been ages, I freely confess, as the lack of drinking in recent months has corrupted my writing.  Back on the road now - it continues, if not in this space.  I hope to keep this up, if only to look back in cloudier times and remember the instant moments of these precious journeys - random Avenues and spicy kobe beef tacos and victory ales.  In which the beat rolls on incessantly and gloriously.  From downtown TO tonight to lunch on the Thames tomorrow, to Edinburgh and the Parisian to Malta and Ollie's Last.  La Paz and Peru already lined up for August.  What more? Oh yes, victory to Barack.  Can we combine a campaign stop in Indy with the Kentucky Derby the first of May?  Yes we hope we can.  I would love to and the plans are now sprung as we type.

Off to the waterfall and steam.  Remember?
