How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

Port

Arrival in Cape Town, and still processing it all.  The ability to adapt, and then adapt again.  The surrealness of the sights and sounds, the magic of new experience, the joy of being-in-the-world, truly.  The randomness to start, the fun in seeing strangers, the ability to make choices again.  Contrasting definitions of freedom.

Going back into tourist mode tomorrow, I think.  Off to Daddy Long Legs, and continued reflection on everything under the sun.  Heard from Lav and there’s a lease in place for the summer but she’s “very interested” in speaking further and so the birthday trip is set.  888 also has seen a price drop that makes it a comparator.  We wait to see.  The fresh room, haha.
