How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

加油 [jiā yóu]

老板一再叮嘱大家加油干 -"The boss kept urging people to make more effort."

快, 加油! - Come on, come on!

Ah, yes. Another June 8th. Nicely done by Yang, reminding me of the famed Chinese urging-on that hasn't been spoken at pitched lungs for awhile. How lovely the greeting from Monkey Jane Zeng earlier and the thoughts of the road through southern China to the rooftop of the world. How hard not to think of the possibilities that exist in foreign lands, when you have had the benefit these past few days of such a lovely visit from Iceland. To think that was less than one year ago, at that! Oh my. What might be in store in this next celestial circumnavigation? Who can say?

Enjoy, my friend. Another day in the life. How quickly it doth pass. And how humorously. Indeed.
