How Sad a Passage

COUNTESS "This young gentlewoman had a father,--O, that 'had'! how sad a passage 'tis!--whose skill was almost as great as his honesty; had it stretched so far, would have made nature immortal, and death should have play for lack of work." -Act I scene i, All's Well that Ends Well.

the owl was a baker's daughter

Pretty Ophelia, how long has she been thus?

The keys, all day had been in the door. So the 7am meeting lost out and more. CVG enjoyed the wave-over tonight. An epic if unwarranted Sask. victory. Sam Moon, men o' deep, and all. But when the quotes also say "Lord wwe knlow what we are but know not what we may be.

Full Moon Rising

This Halifax October continues to be monumentally mild. Hard to believe that November approaches, and with it the long awaited reunion with Barat, and another blessed moments on the gorgeous Thames. As we smile, smile, and play the role of villain. The eagle flies with the dove, etc. I left my cursed keys in the office and must return to pick them up, so Shakespeare then. After this free firm dinner with some master chef. Rum and Coke Friday baby. You gotta love it.

Vouchsafe your rest here

If it will please you
To show us so much gentry and good will
As to expend your time with us awhile,
For the supply and profit of our hope,
Your visitation shall receive such thanks
As fits a king's remembrance.

He never puts a note wrong, the old fool, on any random page. On any random night. A shame not to be on the overnight flight to witness possible further English potential glory, but these are the days. And this traveler is pretty fortunate, as everyone knows.

Not enough time to write as much as is thought. Saved for another day. And happy TFI.

"I" spy

After year's of running the contest - an assistant walks in to my office today and "needs a word that starts with i". Without thinking, it is amazing the words that pop into one's head. For immediately I thought of "indigo", followed by "illuminate" and "iris". While fine choices, she had the one all along, asking me what I thought of "intrepid". Long a favorite word since the Electric Kool-Aid Test, it should have been at the top of my list. Nice punctuation to a regular old Friday morning, though. 5 weeks until the Thames.

Today

Couldn't wait for it, now here. Lovely. Sporting a magnificent burn from the drive from Vegas through the desert. They upgraded me to a margerine coloured PT cruiser convertible, and ol' maggie's dear to me. Too bad about the lack of megaphonep, but we are Arizona and so can you. Magic.

Must run. Today's line (and one for posterity) from.roomate B. Ferris: "Lately I've taken to drinking while showering - on a somewhat daily basis"

Again, shame about the lack of megaphone. Enjoy yourself.

Oh Yes

Being the BK guy's answer to the security guard's hilarious query: "Does that poutine come with gravy on it?"

And being also the correct summary of emotions now as I prepare to Board the Westjet flights to VEGAS BABY.

More from the road/sky. As we dream and then do these impossible things.

delaine

Miami, Manitoba.

A city in Canada.

Wherin there is a Chatterbox. Locally called Chattersnatch.

Honestly. You could live a 1000 years. A town of two streets and 4 avenues.

Honestly.

A ballad in the print o' life

To unpathed waters, undreamed shores...

Again the ferry to Dartmouth.
Again the AK birthday.
Again the blue sky for another Halifax band.

All my heroes are dead.

More soon. We are three rows from the about to start Sloan. If you'll admit that you were wrong...
